J.H. Kitson with Christian Almer, in 1866. On the border line between Italy and Switzerland, one of the most beautiful crests of the Alps winds. Technically not too difficult, however, it requires a good experience in the high mountains and sure-footedness. The ridge is entirely above 4000 meters, therefore a good physical preparation is necessary. The ridge develops between the hill of Lys 4248 Mt. and the Felik hill 4061 Mt. with a length of about 4 km. and a vertical drop of 460 Mt. almost entirely snowy, airy and thin with numerous frames. The crossing can be done in both directions. The view and the environment is great that can be appreciated while maintaining concentration on the pace.
