A splendid itinerary that can also be followed in late spring with transformed snow. The exposure in full south-east has a decisive influence on the conditions of the snowpack; from day to day we go from powder snow to “cardboard”. Access from the Entrèves pass is the most delicate part, then the slope decreases constantly, with good snow conditions it is possible to descend to the Mont Blanc tunnel.
Program
- Day 1
The descent takes place in a day starting from Courmayeur, by cable car from La Palud 1370 Mt. to Punta Hellbronner 3428 Mt. From here, put on your skis, cross the Flambeau pass and descend to the foot of the Aiguille de Toula. With sealskins you go up to the Colle d'Entrèves 3,527 meters. (45 ') from where the descent begins. When the snow conditions allow it, it is possible to go down to the Mont Blanc tunnel.
