Between the Punta Helbronner and the Torino refuge there is the “bog”, (so called because the toilets of the Helbronner tip drain right into the canal) which descends for about 350 meters on the Toula glacier. Nice and not too steep it becomes narrow in the final part just before the terminal crevasse. It is necessary to be very careful after the snowfalls with strong winds, in fact, swellings often form just behind the access ridge. Suitable for good skiers with 45 ° training and safety.
Program
- Day 1
The descent takes place in the day with departure from Courmayeur, by cable car from La Palud 1370 Mt. to Punta Hellbronner 3428 Mt. Just outside the cable car door the gully begins. At the end of the canal, continue on the classic itinerary of the Toula glacier.
